Here are some patches top be applied to a Mandrake distribution. - Sub-directory 2.6.8.1-mdk contains additional patches to kernel 2.6.8.1-20mdk. They can be applied with low risk. - Sub-directory 2.6.9-nbmdk contains the corresponding patches (less because some of them have been included in the official kernel) for a vanilla kernel 2.6.9. It is far from a possible Mandrake kernel. - Sub-directory 2.6.11.3-nbmdk contains the most recent Alps touchpad patches (March 2005) from Peter Osterlund which solves former non working double tapping. I don't know why theses patches are still not filed in the official kernel. Please notice that you need to upgrade synaptics to version 0.14.1 (and qsynaptics to 0.22.0) in order to run the Alps driver. I did not include the ivtv patches because there was some missing symbols in the depmod phase. You can get the corresponding Mandrake rpm on the same server. - In the test-patches, you will find the sony-radeon-video-post.patch concerns Sony Vaio with radeon video card. Refer to http://bugme.osdl.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3670 to get more information. It could help resuming to RAM by including the video_post command into the kernel... Never applied myself because I prefer to execute the command itself by including it in an hibernate script. Nicolas Brouard March 2005
